To help sellers achieve their highest possible sales on our platform we have recently begun sending you regular performance reviews. If you have received a performance review and would like to understand how to read it please see the segment breakdown below:
The sales chart that appears at the top of your report will feature a line graph showing your total sales values for each month and a bar chart detailing the absolute quantity of sales for each month. Generally the thing to look for is a steady or increasing line chart, it is important to understand that your products may also be seasonal in which case there will be dips during certain periods of the year.
Month by Month Performance:
The monthly summary graph displays your page views, sales quantity, sales revenues, conversion rates and change in revenues for each month. The thing to look for here is increasing page views and revenues. Conversion rates will usually remain constant but it is important to monitor them as well.
The product ratings chart displays the absolute value of review ratings across your product range. This gives you an indication of how positively customers feel about your range.
Top Performing Out of Stock:
The top performing out of stock chart is used as a safety measure. These products are your best performing over the previous period which are currently out of stock, if you have products on this list where possible we recommend getting them back in stock as soon as possible to maximise your sales potential on our platform. Please also check to ensure that none of the products have incorrectly been marked as out of stock.
The revenue decrease list shows historically popular products that have recently seen sales decline, what to take from this chart will largely depend on your business. For a supplier with seasonal goods this may just show products that are currently out of season, for other suppliers is may show products that have recently fallen out of favour. In this situation please consider any changes that may have caused this, we often find an increase in price or products accidentally being marked as out of stock account for a large number of sales decreases.
The revenue increase list shows your products that have recently become popular on our platform, to maximise your sales we suggest ensuring these products remain in stock. They also make for great promotional deals, if you would like to discuss promotional options please contact the team via a request with seller enquiry type 'Promotional Price Offers', they will be more than happy to advise you of our current and upcoming offerings.
