MyDeal carries out verification checks to confirm the customer's purchase. Our customer service team contacts customers with a high risk order, within 48 business hours via either email, phone or SMS.
If MyDeal is unable to verify the customers details, Mydeal will conduct a verification check with the customer.
You will receive an automated email when the order is placed by the customer advising that the order has been received but is ‘on hold’. MyDeal requests that stock be reserved for these orders, but please do not dispatch until further notice is provided.
The customer has 2 weeks (14 days) to complete this verification or the order will be cancelled.
You will receive an automated notification when the item has been verified and taken ‘off hold’. Please dispatch as soon as possible unless you receive another notification from MyDeal.
If the order is on hold, you will be able to see this in the Markerplace portal with the on hold status. If the order is deemed fraudulent, MyDeal will refund the order.
As soon as you receive an order that is not on hold, you may dispatch.
- If the order was classified as fraudulent gets dispatched, MyDeal will not be responsible for the recovery of the dispatched item or loss of funds. Please contact MyDeal (link to contact MyDeal) to confirm the status of the order if unsure.
- If the order has been dispatched and we accepted the order then MyDeal will wear the loss.
