Fair Trading provides a free service that helps consumers and traders to reach an agreed outcome.
A Fair Trading representative will contact MyDeal to advise that the customer has reported an issue for review.
MyDeal will correspond with sellers directly to reach a resolution.
A response with a resolution must be submitted to Fair Trading by MyDeal within 5 business days of receiving the notice. We are required to advise of your response to the customer’s requested outcome.
If no response is provided with a resolution, the customer is advised by Fair Trading of other options available. This includes, where appropriate, the option of lodging an application for the customer’s relevant Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Please note: MyDeal understands that sellers have their own policies, however, when a complaint is lodged with Fair Trading, all sellers must follow the requirements set by Fair Trading.
