How to prepare the MyDeal Shipping Zones & Weight Table CSV file
Snapshot:
Important things to keep in mind:
- The file must be formatted as CSV UTF-8
- The first row of the CSV must contain the column headings exactly as provided in the template
- Column A must contain each MyDeal Zone at least once
- All prices must include GST
- Weight Ranges:
- WeightFrom and WeightTo values are inclusive, e.g. if a weight range is WeightFrom = 10 and WeightTo = 14.99, then any products with weights 10 to 14.99 inclusive will be charged the amount specified for this weight range
- The weight range values must align with the same unit of measurement as your product weight data
- Weight ranges must cover all product weights in your catalog per zone and should be broad enough to cover possible future changes in product weights.
- IMPORTANT: If a product weight is not covered in the rate table then that product will not be purchasable.
- If a weight range overlaps then the system will choose one of the applicable amounts detected in the rate table.
-
Postcode Exclusions - If you are unable to ship to some postcodes within the MyDeal Zones you can also prepare a Postcode Exclusion CSV to setup alongside your rate table. See instructions here.
-
Combined Shipping Cost - If your can offer a combined shipping rate for purchases of multiple units of the same product, tick the Combined Shipping Cost box at the time of creating a freight scheme based on this rate table.
This should remain unticked if your shipping arrangement does not support this.
Note - To set up combined shipping across multiple products, please view the details HERE.
