To publish your Maropost Commerce products to MyDeal, you need to mark them as ‘approved’. This will allow Maropost Commerce to sync the product with your MyDeal store. Please note that this can only be done once you have installed the MyDeal App in your Maropost Commerce Cloud Account.
The below steps can also be used to ‘unapprove’ your Maropost Commerce products and remove them from MyDeal.
Products in Maropost Commerce can be approved in three ways:
Individually Approve Products
- In your Maropost Commerce Cloud Control Panel, navigate to the Products > Active page.
- Click the product SKU you want to publish to MyDeal.
- Tick the Approved to show on MyDeal checkbox.
- Click the Save button.
- Repeat the process for all other products.
Approve Products in Bulk
- In your Maropost Commerce Cloud Control Panel, navigate to the Products > Active page.
- Select the products you want to publish to MyDeal (tick each product manually or Select All).
- Scroll down the page and click the With x selected button (beneath the product list table).
- Select Approve for MyDeal from the pop-up menu and click OK.
- Repeat the process for the next list of products.
Approve Products via Import
Use the Maropost Commerce Cloud Import/Export Wizard to bulk update the Approved For MyDeal value to y
for each product.
Tips:
- Remove any other fields in your import file except 'SKU' and 'Approved for MyDeal' to ensure other data isn't overwritten and to speed up the import process.
- You can also use this wizard to bulk update other Custom Product Fields you have mapped in your MyDeal App settings.
Once the updates have been completed, ensure to republish your product feed to reflect those changes.
